ABOUT
Secure your spectator ticket for the first qualifier of The Big Pitch 2025, the largest startup pitch event in South African history, in partnership with The South African Future Trust.
This year, twenty of the country's most promising startups will battle it out live and on-stage, for an unprecedented $1 million investment into their business (subject to due diligence and T&Cs).
Ten startups will compete in each of our two regional qualifiers, held in Johannesburg (April) and Cape Town (August), respectively. The top five from each qualifier, as scored by our judges and the live/streaming audience on the night, will advance to the grand finale at this year’s South African Future Trust Summit, held at the Sandton Convention Centre in October.

NEED TO KNOW
Check-in opens at 17:45pm and we start promptly at 18:30pm.
We reserve the right to admit late-comers, out of courtesy for our attendees and participating founders.
The Linder Auditorium is located on the Education Campus of Wits (The University of the Witwaterstrand) and the entrance is accessible off St Andrews Road in Parktown, Johannesburg. Upon entry, follow the signs to available parking and proceed to the Linder Auditorium on foot.
Canapés and a cash bar will be available on the night. No food or drinks (other than water) will be allowed into the auditorium itself.
* Tickets are mandatory for admission and do not include plus-ones.
* This is a catered and in-demand event. In order to grow a good attendance culture, "no shows" without prior notice may be excluded from future events.
* Tickets are not refundable, but transferable until 9am on 22nd April 2025. To transfer your ticket, do so directly via logging into your Quicket account.
