With the flurry of modern classical artists in Europe like Nils Frahm and Ludovico Einaudi we are honoured to have someone of Christophers stature here in South Africa. The confluence of contemporary classical, Jazz, free improv presents Christopher to us as a stalwart of these genres.

Christopher Culpo is an American-French composer and pianist, who has been living in France since 1991. He has written chamber and symphonic music, vocal and opera, for dance and theatre and has composed and improvised music for silent films. 

Relationships with champions of composition in music like Milton Babbitt, David del Tredici, Aaron Copland, Charles Banacos and Tristan Murail
