Story Sessions in collaboration with the Denis Hurley Centre will host "Homeless 101" on Tuesday, 3 September 2019. This is an invitation for us as people who live in this city to come together and learn about homelessness as an important part of our collective story ('101' describes the starting point for learning). Raymond Perrier, a previous guest on Story Sessions and director of Denis Hurley Centre, will interview members of the homeless community in our city and help us understand homelessness. The evening will include a special exhibition of photographs and stories by young inspiring photographer Obakeng Molepe and meticulous copywriter Sithembiso Shoba. Are you willing to step beyond yourself and the stories of your own social circles to encounter and listen to the stories of homeless people as human beings, agents and co-citizens of our city? Join us on the 3rd of September at Community ZA as we come together for this important storytelling event.
