The 5th March marks the day, 15 years ago, that I drove into rehab with a double shot Bloody Mary in hand. Actually it may NOT have been a double shot as I certainly didn’t believe in measuring out my booze. I would normally just “gooi”!
Follow along on my journey of discovery as I try to unravel the answers to some questions that have come up for me in my old age - and since my ADHD diagnosis. And I do use this term fairly loosely. It will be a little bit funny, maybe a little bit sad, but hopefully useful.
Joining me on stage will be James van der Merwe on sax and vocals for a bit of light hearted entertainment, and Khanyi Khunga will be our gracious host.
The launch of ADHD, the Bottle and Me will take place on the 5th March at 6:30 pm at Isithatha Theatre, 12 9th Avenue, Walmer.
Early Bird Tickets are R60 each until the 25th February. General Admission are R80 from the 26th February. Tickets available online via Quicket.
