Learn the Maori Haka Workshop with Matiu te Huki !!

This workshop is hybrid and will be hosted both Live in a group setting @Sky Villa Boutique Hotel, Plettenberg Bay South Africa, as well as Online Via Zoom if you are in a different country or location.

Sacred stance Haka (traditional power dance) Workshop by Matiu Te Huki (NZ virtual)

This is for all genders.

This interactive workshop will cover the traditional Maori practice of haka (traditional power dance) helping us engage with our healthy warrior energy, which helps us find our internal, healthy expression of power and inner discipline. Building trust and respect between men and women. This allows us to stand strong in our full power and really take up some space on this planet at this time.

We’ll not only learn how and why we haka, but we’ll also learn and do a simple yet very strong haka and fully embody our internal warrior, our “I will not be pushed around ever again” badass!

We’ll also learn how to use haka as a real tool to help us deal will our emotions, releasing and building energies and supporting our mental health…..and its really sexy!

We will deal with light and shadow. This workshop is suitable for anyone up for real growth.

Participants will leave with ancient yet practical tools to support them in the way they stand, speak, listen, connect and move powerfully through this life.

BIO

Matiu has over 20 years experience as a Maori language and performance teacher, he is an engaging, intuitive facilitator, dynamic international musician, playwright, storyteller and a leader amongst his own communities.

Matiu is travelling the world with his healing work, the impact from this is currently sending waves around the planet and this workshop offers tools we can offer towards a solution to making a real difference in addressing fragmentation within our relationships as well as things like gender-based violence. This is healing the masculine and feminine relationship using traditional and modern wisdom.
