The Passion Week Concert presented by the New Apostolic Church choir and orchestra on Sunday, 24 March 2024 at the Silvertown Auditorium promises to be a captivating and emotional experience for all in attendance.
Starting at 17h00, the concert will begin with a powerful and moving performance of Mozart's Requiem presented by the Cape Town concert choir. During the second half of the concert the audience will be swept away by some powerful and emotive renditions of our Cape Town Young People's choir, leaving them with a sense of awe and reverence for the timeless story of sacrifice and salvation. This Passion Week Concert is sure to be an unforgettable experience, and all are invited to join in on this musical journey of faith and devotion. The combined voices of the choir, accompanied by the orchestra, will create a rich and melodic sound that will transport the audience to a place of deep reflection and spiritual contemplation. The beautiful harmonies and intricate musical arrangements will evoke a range of emotions, from sorrow and lamentation to hope and redemption.
Admission is free however, do not book if you're not attending.
