ABOUT

Dear Rosie Family

ONE HEART CAN COMFORT ANOTHER

This Mandela Day, we invite you to support the Sisters of Mercy Immaculata Hall Homeless Shelter by giving a blanket** or monetary donation of any amount to the shelter.

What they do ...

The Sisters of Mercy Immaculata Hall Homeless Shelter in Sturdee Avenue, Rosebank is a shelter for homeless people in the area. The shelter accommodates 20 women and 80 men who sleep on the premises and receive two meals a day, breakfast and supper. As they unfortunately cannot accommodate all the people in need, they also run a day care programme, where they care for some of the displaced people in the area by providing them a meal and a place to shower and do their laundry. They also accept blankets and clothes which they distribute to those in need.
