Sibikwa is proud to present the first edition of our Phola Vibez! Jazz Sessions for 2022, featuring the exceptional Banda Banda & The Crocodiles Project live on stage at the Sibikwa Theatre in Benoni, on Sunday 1 May 2022 at 14h00.
Fusing Jazz, African Music, Funk and Latin, with Banda Banda (SA) on bass guitar & The Crocodiles: Sam Ibeh (Nigeria) on drums, Milton Chissano (Mozambique) on guitar, Hadji Ndong (Senegal) on percussion, Mthunzi Mvubu (SA) on saxophone and Sibusiso Mkhize (SA) on trumpet; the performance promises an exciting and diverse cultural experience.
Hosted at Sibikwa’s dynamic performance platform on the East Rand, rivalling established venues in Johannesburg, this fiery Phola Vibez! live music event presenting the superb soulful and funky sounds of vibrant established musos, is not to be missed!
