Symphony Choir of Cape Town sings Misa Criolla and Frostiana

The Symphony Choir of Cape Town’s next performance on Sunday, 26 May at 4pm, will showcase two very special pieces of music:
Misa Criolla, a Spanish Mass composed by Ariel Ramirez in 1964, and based on Argentinian folk genres and indigenous rhythms. "Widely regarded as a stunning artistic achievement" says The Washington Post. The choir will also sing Frostiana, a suite of seven choral works by Randall Thompson set to the poetry of Robert Frost, beginning with the beautiful and haunting “The Road Not Taken”.
