Klikkerlanders Kids Entertainment at Bellville Market

The Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP) is inviting families and friends from all over Cape Town to visit the Bellville Market on Saturday 2 November 2019 at the Bellville Library, Carl van Aswegen Street, Bellville.

The Bellville Market will feature a fun-packed programme of family events and a diverse range of food and drink stalls selling fresh and locally made favourites such as burgers, boerewors, curry, roti, donuts, cupcakes, koeksisters and milk tart. There will also be a mix of arts and crafts stalls selling clothes, framed canvases and art works, antiques, jewellery, plants and other great market finds. In addition, the library will be selling books on the day.

In terms of entertainment, the GTP has ensured there is something for everyone. Ever-popular kids entertainment group, Klikkerlanders, will be performing on the day. Face-painting and other activities will also be available for kids to enjoy.

Klikkerlanders have been nominated for a Ghoema Award for Best Children's Album for the third year in a row. Klikkerlanders' fourth DVD was recently released. The group is also featured on KYKNET every weekday.

The performance is really fun, full of humor, energy and challenges. The engaging performance, with diverse characters is also relevant to things that are currently being addressed in our community, such as recycling, animal activities, nature conservation and many other topics for young children.
