ABOUT
Covid and lockdown have forced some changes into the world’s culture and it has also changed the way we as Jesus’ church have had to operate. However, every crisis is an opportunity, and so we believe this to be an opportune time to change how we live as a church to more faithfully and effectively live out our mandate of making disciples of all peoples, near and far. This means a new generation of leaders who can lead God’s people through the challenges and opportunities that face us. The two areas we’ve been focusing on, and want to work more deeply through, are:
- How do we make disciples in this crazy world?
- How do we live as a church where Sunday is not everything?
This event booking is for Session 6 of the training. Please book to attend either the 31st October OR the 7th of November.
PLEASE NOTE - CHANGE OF STARTING TIME:
Now that we are allowed to have more than 100 people in the building, we are opening up the hall for 10 AM worship services. This means that the training workshop will now begin at 8 AM instead of 9 AM.
Coffee will be available from the Grounded Café throughout the training.
We will ensure that the hall and other church spaces are sanitised and there will be hand-sanitiser available at various stations.
Please wear your mask and ensure that the social-distancing protocols are observed at all times.
If you are feeling unwell (experiencing symptoms of Covid-19) or if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks, please help prevent the spread of the virus by staying at home.
