The Automotive community needs an enhanced event experience at NO cost to the visitor, one fuelled by passion and dedication to craftsmanship, where the best car builds are carefully chosen to rise above the rest and the mix of OEM & Aftermarket retail working in unison to offer this. IDLE Auto Fest is created to allow enthusiasts, fans and consumers to come together to share stories and ultimately their love for the craft. So envision this as being a premium Automotive mall experience within an actual mall, one of South Africa's largest, busiest & most prestigious to be precise!

EXHIBITION
- Automotive & Lifestyle exhibitors will showcase their latest vehicles, products, services and offerings in our Vendor Village ranging from OEM, Accessories, Performance, ICE (In-car entertainment), and much more.
CHASE RC DRIFT-OFF (Hosted by EDC - Edenvale Drift Circuit)
- RC Drifting is one of the most popular and fastest growing areas of RC (Radio Controlled) Cars. It is a sport that combines real world drifting techniques and car setup scaled down to 1/10th of the scale. Just like 1:1 scale drifting, it is not about who crosses the line first that wins but who has the better chase and lead skill. It's a great thrill to drift sideways around the track in your realistic looking scale drifter. Professional drifters require a car that is highly customisable, drifters need the ability to configure their suspensions, steering and power to match their car to different circuits. The founders from EDC (Edenvale Drift Circuit), a professional RC Drift organisation are the hosts for our RC Drift section and they will run and judge a full 2(two) day drift comp dubbed CHASE RC Drift-Off according to their rules and regulations. The shows organisers are also passionate about the RC Drift scene and together with the guys from EDC and relevant sponsors we are hoping to inspire and get more youngsters involved, possibly getting them to join the EDC organisation.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE SHIELD CAR CARE MAIN ARENA?
(Spectator involvement):
- A live DJ will entertain the crowds throughout the weekend as well as present many giveaways to the visitors on stage.
- Pit Wheel Change Comp: Fastest spectator to change a wheel on a vehicle.
- Wrapmasters: vehicle wrapping contest, how fast can you wrap a vehicle part!
- Motor Mouth: Think you can replicate your favourite car's exhaust tone with your mouth?
- Cram My Ride: Bring your friends or family and let's see how many can fit in our car in front of media and spectators.
- Rocomamas Chillie Burger Eating Contest: The fastest spectator to eat a chillie burger WINS!
STREET DANCE BATTLE (Hosted by MGHHDA - Mario Gomes Hip Hop Dance Academy)
- To add to the element of lifestyle we will promote and run a b-boy (break dancing) comp over the two days in our main arena. Street Dance Battle is an All Style Street Dance Competition for all Advanced Dancers from Ages 7yrs and over. The competition is open for all Advanced dancers from different races, backgrounds, Street Dance Styles in South Africa. Dancers will have their shot at being crowned the Top Street Dance Style Solo Champion, Street Dance Style Battle Champions or Street Dance Crew Champion. Solo Dancers will walk away with the Solo Hip Hop Street Dance Floating Trophy , Cash Prizes, Hip Hop Hampers and the Bragging rights of being the First SDB Solo Dance Champion for 2022. Battle Dancers will walk away with the Solo Street Dance Battle Floating Trophy ,Cash Prizes, Hip Hop Hampers and the Bragging rights of being the First SDB Solo Dance Battle Champion for 2022. Crew Dancers will have their time to show off their illest Choreography, Formations and Concepts and being Named the SDB CREW CHAMPIONS of South Africa while walking away with great Cash Prizes and Hampers.
