Mama City Improv Festival is the first and only international improv comedy festival on the African Continent!
The Festival (now in it's 4th year!) promotes improv comedy - an hilarious, spontaneous theatre experience, in Cape Town, South Africa with shows and workshops over five days - 11-15 March 2020.
With nights filled with side-splitting brilliant shows, and days packed with workshops, the festival is an intensive learning experience for beginner and advanced improvisers, local and international, to immerse themselves in improv comedy - experiencing the magic of it all coming together on stage, as a performer or audience member.
International Improvisers from Europe and North America bring top tier performances to the Mama City - giving an infusion of the best of the best, inspiring and sharing the latest skills with the locals and other internationals who come for the learning.
