Registration details for vendors:

- Registration for your own cooking plot is R150

(trade as a vendor).

- Optionally, to participate in the competition for an additional R200 entry fee.

- Contestants must set up their own cooking station using gas or coals and bring all necessary cooking equipment.

Competition Structure:

- Round 1: Cook your favorite dish to qualify for Round 2. From the initial contestants, 10 will be eliminated.

- Round 2: Cook a vegetarian bunny chow and prepare a salad and dhal. 11 contestants will be eliminated.

- Final Round: 20 finalists will prepare a bunny chow or potjiekos served in a bunny style. Finalists will need 1kg of their chosen ingredient for the final round.

Prizes:

- 1st Place: R20,000

- 2nd Place: R3,000

- 3rd Place: R1,000

- 4th Place: R750

- 5th Place: R250

Special Advantages:

- Making your own bread for the bunny chow on gas or coals will give you a half-point advantage in the judging. It's a good idea to learn this art before the competition!
