Save SA Wine Feed A Family Fundraiser

Vinpro, a non-profit company representing South African wine producers, cellars and industry stakeholders, estimates that the entire wine industry, which consists of 2 778 wine grape producers and 533 wineries, could lose more than 80 wineries, 350 wine grape producers and 18 000 jobs over the next 18 months due to the three alcohol bans instituted by the South African government.

Many businesses and livelihoods have already been affected and jobs have been lost resulting in many families being in dire straits needing help urgently. We are calling on Wineries and Winelands Businesses to apply on behalf of retrenched staff and / or needy families to receive the R250 food vouchers raised from the Feed A Family Fundraiser through the SaveSAwine NPO. We will contact the applicant via email to get the details of those in need and the vouchers will be sent directly to the families via SMS.
