Sat Sep 8, 11:00 - Sat Sep 8, 13:00

Tshimologong

ABOUT

Tshimologong Digital Precinct, Wits Art Museum and Fak'ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival are hosting a dynamic coding workshop for all ages and all levels of experience. Using beadwork from the WAM collection, Tegan Bristow will illustrate how you can use beadwork patterns as a reference for learning the basics of creative coding in Processing (www.processing.org). An initial presentation of ideas will be followed by a coding lesson. If you are interested in staying on for this lesson, please bring a laptop or be okay with sharing one.

The workshop forms part of the exhibition "Digital Imaginaries: Premonition."
