Join us for a night of inspirational trail running films and guest speakers in association with the recent opening of Gone. - Cape Town's "new kid on the block” outdoor adventure gear retailer and exclusive stockists of Patagonia.Films will include "Mile for Mile" and "The Last Darkness", two trail running adventures through some of the planets most breath-taking landscapes, all in aid of raising awareness about the pressures facing these unique and environmentally significant locations.
In addition, speaking about his locally based project Love Our Trails, Blake Dyason will share the objectives of this grassroots initiative aimed helping the local community understand and give back to the trails that connect all of us who seek inspiration in our mountains. Plus, adventure photographer Kelvin Trautman and Heleen Mills will introduce a series of images and video pieces from various water-related projects that they have been a part of, including Mina Guli's Thirst project, their own #runningdry100 campaign and his more recent awareness campaign about the water crisis within the Western Cape.
Tickets include your choice of either a chicken or beef burger for the meat eaters, or a mushroom burger or green salad for the vegetarians (please select your option when registering), plus a beer. All additional proceeds from the tickets will go directly to assisting Love Our Trails with future awareness and action projects.
