Taipei-Cape Jazz Connection with Dizu Plaatjies: Open Rehearsal

In addition to the performances there will be an open rehearsal on Sunday 15 October at 12.00 in the Chisholm Recital Room at the SA College of Music at UCT
 
This rehearsal offers an exclusive opportunity for members of the public to witness the musical collaboration and creation of new music.
 
  • Audience members get to watch the process of blending of music cultures from Taiwan and Africa between international artists.
  • Audience will also have the opportunity to interact with the artists following the rehearsal, to ask questions, and gain insight into the collaborative process.
 
Entry is free but as space is very limited, reservations need to be made via Quicket
