AREA 51 returns in 2025 with a new theme: Return to Nature. Set in the breathtaking Schoemanskloof valley, this three-day festival invites you to disconnect from the ordinary and immerse yourself in music, community, and the natural world.

Music & Lineup

A carefully curated lineup will bring together top electronic and alternative artists across multiple stages. From pulsating psytrance to deep house, techno, and drum & bass, expect an audio journey designed to elevate and inspire. Full lineup to be announced soon.

The Setting

Stone River Lodge provides the perfect festival escape, surrounded by rolling hills, dense forests, and the flowing waters of the Elands River. Whether you’re exploring the trails, relaxing by the river, or dancing under the open sky, this venue offers an unparalleled natural experience.

Camping & Accommodation

Camping is an essential part of the AREA 51 experience. Set up your tent beneath the stars or book one of the available accommodation options at Stone River Lodge for a more comfortable stay.

Food & Drinks

A variety of food stalls will offer meals, snacks, and festival essentials throughout the weekend. A fully stocked bar will be available.
