I'm a keen Bass fisherman. If I had a Rand for every fish that's bitten on my lure that I've lost, I wouldn't be working and would be fishing full-time.

About Your Workshop Facilitator


Jacques de Villiers has been consulting, speaking and teaching marketing and sales for more than 20 years.


He cut his teeth in the marketing and public relations world as a Public Relations Copywriter for a Blue Chip JSE-listed company. In that time (before Internet) he had more than 300+ articles published on real paper.


Post-Internet (around 1998) he became a website and content marketing specialist. He started a website to represent professional speakers which generated 500 000+ a year before he sold it to a speakers agency.


Around 2002 he added sales copywriting to his arsenal of services and to date has written sales copy that has generated more than R20-million for his clients.


Today, he consults to SMEs to help them with their digital, email and content marketing strategies.


When he's not advising SMEs on marketing and sales, you'll find him catching bass, playing chess and spending time with his daughter, Rebecca.
