Well we remember and we’re so excited for all of it to happen again that we’ve planned something special! We’ve rounded up three of SA’s hottest acts for one of the most epic December tours we could think of. From Cape Town to PE, we’ll be bringing the freshest and grooviest local tunes night by night to a lucky town near your favourite holiday destination.

A little about the bands:

Grassy Spark:

Needing little introduction following their month long stint at #1 on 5fm’s Indie Rock Chart with their single ‘Here I Am’, Grassy Spark make music that is sure to get your body moving like it’s never moved before! Their eclectic debut album: ‘Portal’, released worldwide through Gallo Records, has taken them from flame emoji to flame emoji. Their primetime slot at SA’s biggest music festival, Rocking the Daisies gave them the opportunity to open for Foster the People, Mac Miller and Beardyman and we can assure you they didn’t disappoint. Grassy Spark are fresh off their latest tour opening for UK Reggae-Pop legends UB40 all around South Africa and itching to round off their exceptional year with some Summer Lovin' like we’ve never seen before. Get your vocal pipes ready, because you’ll be singing along all night.

Diamond Thug:

Hauntingly beautiful vocal melodies float above a distinct musical concoction. Their unique sound waves swirl through the air, giving rise to a plethora of emotion reaching deep into your soul, resulting in an alternative-pop sound unlike any other. Their year has been a busy one, which included the release of their debut EP: ‘Monday Will Have to Wait’ through Norwegian based distributor Phonofile; their first European tour taking them to sold-out shows across Germany, The Netherlands and France; performances across many of SAs top festivals; collaborations with SA music legends and most recently time in studio recording their own debut full length album. This tour will see Diamond Thug showcasing brand new, unheard material as well as performing old favourites to fans across South Africa’s beautiful coastline.
