Well we remember and we’re so excited for all of it to happen again that we’ve planned something special! We’ve rounded up three of SA’s hottest acts for one of the most epic December tours we could think of. From Cape Town to PE, we’ll be bringing the freshest and grooviest local tunes night by night to a lucky town near your favourite holiday destination.

A little about the bands:
Go Barefoot:
Striving to bring their own style and personality into their music, Go Barefoot create an eclectic, interesting and uniquely South African mix of Folk, Urban-African, Alt-Rock and Jazz. If you're a fan of get-up-and-move dance beats as well as strong, groovy hooks that take on a new sonic attitude then these guys will be your cup of tea. Flying down from Jozi, just for this special night, Go Barefoot are sure to take fans on a musical adventure that'll get your body swaying in ways you didn't know was possible. Their happy, positive and uplifting melodies and carefree attitude is infectious and will turn your post-2016 blues into something more fitting for the summer months.

Nomadic Orchestra:
This five-piece instrumental dance band has the primary goal of getting people moving. The band makes an infectious kind of high-energy dance music - that will have even the most prudish audience members unconsciously tapping their feet. The Nomadic Orchestra is strongly influenced by traditional music from the countries of South-Eastern Europe: Macedonia, Romania and Serbia. They are also influenced by Klezmer, gypsy and circus music as well as contemporary western party music. Their musical training brings a strong jazz aesthetic to the band, and thus an emphasis on improvisation. Get ready to sweat, jump, sway and scream: “Booya!” when these guys hit the stage!

Diamond Thug:
Hauntingly beautiful vocal melodies float above a distinct musical concoction. Their unique sound waves swirl through the air, giving rise to a plethora of emotion reaching deep into your soul, resulting in an alternative-pop sound unlike any other. Their year has been a busy one, which included the release of their debut EP: ‘Monday Will Have to Wait’ through Norwegian based distributor Phonofile; their first European tour taking them to sold-out shows across Germany, The Netherlands and France; performances across many of SAs top festivals; collaborations with SA music legends and most recently time in studio recording their own debut full length album. This tour will see Diamond Thug showcasing brand new, unheard material as well as performing old favourites to fans across South Africa’s beautiful coastline.
