ABOUT
A fun filled two days for the whole family.
You can either check your children in and leave them while you explore all the other MRtC sites, or come and participate as a family.
There'll be many fun activities, scavenger hunts, races, walks and competitions, with great prizes to be won.
- Entrance: R50/child/day or R300/family/day
- Kingfisher Bend guided walk: R50/person
- Meals: R50/meal (Booking is preffered but not essential)

Happy Acres, is a child-centric field centre with over 70 years experience in providing a prepared environment that enables children to learn more about themselves, the environment and their peers.
Happy Acres provides an environment where children can leave their backgrounds behind and enter a secure, neutral world as equals with children from a wide range of backgrounds.
It’s a place where youngsters are kept busy doing positive things, while being encouraged to explore many different fun-filled opportunities.
Children come to Happy Acres to have fun. The learning occurs almost effortlessly.
