Our monthly Comedy Evenings (by candlelight!) are back by popular demand! We kick off with our first event hosted by Melt Sieberhagen, with headliner Shimmy Isaacs and supported by Tracy Klass and Stuart Cairns.Melt Sieberhagen is one of a new breed of comedians making waves on the local scene. With a uniquely South African point of view and an inherent inability to sidestep touchy topics and holy cows. Having been described as anything from “a slightly angry teddy” to “a really funny Dutchman”, he’s just a normal bloke looking at the funny side of living in a very interesting and/or dysfunctional society.
Worcester born and raised Shimmy Isaacs went from runaway teen to one of Cape Town's most entertaining and skilled comedy female performers.
Tracy Klass has been a stand up comic since 1999. Between parenting, botox, growing old disgracefully and technophobia - she's just a single mother, residing in Cape Town with her three children still on the payroll.
Stuart Cairns is a Cape Town based comedian that has been described as enigmatic, incorporating a combination of rant, impersonation and self-effacement. Cairns won the 2014 Good Hope FM Laughmaster Competition and subsequently performed at the 10th annual Jive Funny Fest.
