ABOUT

Are you angry that the holidays are over? Enraged about having to pay for your December sins in January? Then join bass-baritone Rudolph Maré and pianist Willem Luitingh for an evening of melodic anger management with opera and song.

The programme will contain angry opera arias by Beethoven, Britten, Handel, Mussorgsky, and Rachmaninov, as well as soothing art songs by Wolf, Brahms, and Strauss.

Also on the programme is one of the most beautiful angry songs from Les Misérables (but not the one you are thinking of).

We are letting you pay what you can afford, or what you feel the music is worth.
