IN GOOD COMPANY is a POP-UP conversation series hosted by Nomads & Co. The series is aimed at connecting 10 entrepreneurs, small businesses owners, creatives, freelancers or consultants, basically, anyone who works for themselves or are planning to do so in the nearby future, to engage in an intimate, real and sometimes frank discussion about the everyday realities and challenges the nomadic workforce face.Tickets will be limited to 10 people.
Our first event not only launches the series but will also be the inaugural event to kickstart the brand new format of Nomads & Co. as we transition from once beloved and acclaimed physical coworking space to networking platform and online community for the nomadic workforce of Joburg.
Our theme for September and for our event is Corporate to Creative - Making the transition. We look at what it takes to transition from a corporate career to a creative one, what motivates us to do so, the realities that come with this career shift and speak to those who have done so successfully. We invite everyone who is interested in this topic, those thinking about making the change, those who have done so and those who are looking to meet fellow small business owners and self-starters in a beautiful and engaging setting.
Our Guest speaker and sponsor for the evening is Aneen Visser of Table + Cloth. Aneen Visser is a Charted Accountant as well as tablescape stylist, owner and brainchild behind Table + Cloth. She will be setting the scene for the evening by styling our dinner conversation table but most importantly will be discussing her own journey of from Corporate to Creative.
