Nature Inspired Weaving Workshop
Sunday the 9th of Dec 10am-1pm
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Join us for an introductory weaving workshop facilitated by textile artist Andie Reeves. In this three-hour workshop, you will be introduced to basic weaving techniques and you will begin creating your own nature inspired woven masterpiece on a DIY loom.
WHAT IS INCLUDED: We will supply all equipment, and flower tea, summer fruit and wild flavoured cupcakes will be provided.
About Andie: She has a background in fashion having previously worked as a dressmaker, stylist, sewing teacher and fashion designer. Currently working as a writer/artist/preschool teacher, her art is being exhibited at The Raptor Room and Cavalli Gallery. She is interested in all forms of textile art, especially weaving, embroidery and sewing, and is passionate about teaching others these skills.
PRICE: R500 per person
DURATION: 3 hours
